Stacie Van Brandenburg is a member of the Norwood Fire Department and was first diagnosed with Lyme disease at age 12. In efforts to help spread awareness in the community, a free public screening of "Under Our Skin" will be held at the Norwood Fire Department, Sunday, May 26th, 1:00PM-3:00PM. Stacie will introduced herself and briefly share her story before the film in honor of Lyme disease awareness month. Tax-deductable donations can be made to the Norwood Fire Department to go towards Stacie's treatment- more information is available by visiting www.fightlyme.org

LymeAid is a Lyme Disease Awareness Month dog-friendly event to raise awareness in NYC about this terrible disease, and raise funds for both LymeDisease.org and Stray From The Heart, a local dog rescue. I have Lyme Disease and have been struggling with it for over 2 years, and I know that I got the tick from one of my dogs bringing it into my home, so I want to raise awareness in the community at large, but also in the dog community. We would also love to have a couple of copies of Under Our Skin on the raffle table if you are able to donate those. Thank you!
