Screening held in the NPL Theater located on the 1st floor. Elevator to right of front desk. From Main Street go east onto Temple St. and bear right at the fork; take the second left onto Cottage Ave. and into the City's metered parking lot.
Noted local Lyme-literate Dr. Steven Bock ( http://www.BockMD.com ) has agreed to speak during the Q and A phase of the evening (after the film is over; Dr. Bock spoke at another one of my screenings of Under Our Skin a few years back). Four years ago I launched http://www.PetitionOnline.com/StopLyme ; 440+ folks have signed on (I also got strong bipartisan support in the Dutchess County Legislature in 2009 for a resolution I drafted-- for NYS to have save health insurance coverage for Lyme/tick disease sufferers as in CT and RI). I'm currently a member of the Dutchess County Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Task Force and am still trying to build support for statewide legislation for NYS to follow RI's example and put into law protection for Lyme-literate doctors-- and health insurance protection for Lyme/tick disease sufferers as well.
This event has been updated from a similar request for Penn Cinema in the Lancaster/Lititz area on May 18th. The location, time, and place has since been confirmed as listed here.
